Young Musicians Salisbury Symphony Youth Orchestra (SSYO)
The Salisbury Youth Orchestra was established in the 1999-2000 season with a grant from the Blanche & Julian Robertson Family Foundation.
Originating as a string ensemble for our youngest students, it now includes students between the ages of 10 and 18. Orchestra members receive free admission to Salisbury Symphony Concerts and the opportunity to perform side-by-side with the symphony's professional musicians in select performances. The SSYO is under the direction of Liz Burns.
